I don’t care what anyone says Pluto is a planet, not a dwarf planet. Infact Pluto is the only real planet, all the other imitations of planets just get the privilege to share the same solar system as it. (Just thought I would put this here on plutos planetary status).
I believe this picture is one of plutos moons (Charo ) from the new horizon satalite. Though I’m not sure.
The kinds of things found on Pluto range from Gysers, fault lines, volcanic avtivity, and all sorts of things. It’s a cold planet something to the effect of -230°C, one would be surprised that it had any activity at all.
Scientists of course are quick to say water exists on the planet- though this was not confirmed by any data, it is just a hypothesis. Methane and other elements make up much of the planets ice.
Pluto has a diameter of 2370 km
Which is about 1470 miles. Roughly, the same distence between Toronto, Ontario to Orlando, Florida. Though it is a whopping 3,670,050,000 miles from the sun.
Pluto is technically part of a binary system with its moon Charon. Charon being only somewhat smaller, the 2 kind of orbit each other. Though pluto has other 4 moons Styx, Nix, Kerberos, and Hydra.
